Robyn Yeang, a London-based artist capturing the allure of the West in ink and painted ceramic works of horses, cowboys and cowgirls. Captivated by the romanticism and spirit of westerns, her work offers a nostalgic vision drawn by curiosity and playful storytelling, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the narrative of the Western Daydream.

Yeang's practice began in 2024, during a period of significant personal change, when she turned to clay and paint as a way of reconnecting with herself and rebuilding a creative life on her own terms. The horse became a recurring subject for its associations with freedom, strength, and healing; the iconic cowboy followed as a lighter, more playful counterpoint at first — together becoming a sustained exploration of resilience, independence and movement. That curiosity grew into a deeper fascination with rodeo culture and the rustic life of the West, and with it, the timeless charm, grit and integrity she found woven through its spirit, resonating within the heart and home.

Through play and practice with clay, Cowboy Crockery was born. A handmade collection adorned with hand-painted horses and cowboys, capturing a playful and whimsical sense of joy and free spirit. Each piece is shaped by hand, embracing natural imperfections that give it a rustic, one-of-a-kind charm.
